New Keysight HD3 firmware 10.50 brings many new functionalities

New firmware revision 10.50 for Keysight HD3 oscilloscopes brings many new features. Here is the summary of the major updates:

HD300ETHA Ethernet Analysis Application

Keysight HD3 oscilloscopes now support protocol decode and trigger of Ethernet 10/100Base-T:

• Trigger on: Errors, Generic Packets and Payloads, Arp, IPv4/6, 802.1Q and 802.ad.
• Display: port, packet, IP, MAC, CRC, Checksum and Error information, with the option to display payload in a popout window.

Automotive Ethernet 10Base-T1S analysis

Updated HD300AUTB Automotive Analysis Application now allows users to analyze Automotive Ethernet 10Base-T1S in addition to CAN, CAN FD, CAN XL, SENT and LIN busses.

Real Time Zone Trigger

The new real-time Zone Trigger unlocks the full potential of the HD3's advanced digital triggering architecture. Unlike software or FPGA qualified zone triggers, the HD3 performs triggering directly in the acquisition path, executing an incredible 6.400.000.000 tests per second. What does this mean for users? Any signal that passes through the defined zone can be reliably detected and triggered on, even for very rare events.

Other enhancements

• Digital Voltmeter (DVM) Enhancements – increased the number of DVMs from 1 to 4, increased resolution to 4 ½ digits
• Network storage – network drives can now be mounted and accessed from File Explorer
