Keysight optical isolated
oscilloscope probes
Keysight Technologies introduced new family of optically isolated differential probes designed primarily for measurement at power electronic devices and circuits with GaN and SiC semiconductor components. The optical isolation effectively rejects common-mode signals, minimizes noise interference, and eliminates ground loops in high-voltage environments. A high common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) is essential for capturing small signals accurately, even in the presence of large common-mode voltages at floating nodes. The CMRR of an optically isolated probe can be over 100 million times greater than that of a standard differential voltage probe referenced to earth ground.
Summary of key parameters of new Keysight SP000XA optically isolated probes:
- 3 models with 300MHz, 700MHz and 1 GHZ bandwidth
- AutoProbe 1 interface compatible with Keysight HD3, EXR and MXR oscilloscopes
- Differential measurements up to ±2.500V
